new colonoscopy prep?

Postby Jannine » Mon May 06, 2019 10:41 am

Just made my appointment for my one-year post-surgery colonoscopy, with my colorectal surgeon. She's recommending a bowel prep I haven't heard of before; Clenpiq. Has anybody tried it? How awful is it compared to the other options? It claims to be a "low volume" bowel prep. I'm sure it's not what I had before my emergency colonoscopy in the hospital last year; I had to drink two huge jugs of prep stuff for that.

I have seen this. Last time I used suprep which is less than go lytely, but tasted awful. I think I have heard that the clenpiq is much easier to handle.

sorry just running out the door here ... BUTT ....

Clenpiq seems to be what we have used in Canada since about 2007 at least
known by many names BUTT search for Pico Salax on the forum and you will get some hits
( Prepopik in the USA )

= very "easy" if any prep can be easy

back later
