Thanks Susie
My surgeon nurse mentioned water enemas in the event I'd need them and she would talk me through it, but I'll wait and see because I'm only 5 weeks out,,,,,

Why not fleet enemas ( quicker turnaround??? NO?)

I'm exausted from shitting
I worked today,,,IN OUT IN OUT IN OUT
It's all the wiping that does the damage...

I do find leaning far to the left on the toilet ( squashing the sigmoid) helps a lot........

The chemicals in a fleet enema if used continually is not good for the colon as I was told. Water is all that is needed to empty the lower bowel. Also, using an enema. bag after a little practice does allow the water to flow easier into the colon. Yes 5 weeks is very early, I was almost a year and a half after my reversal before I tried enemas. Just know they are very simple and work very well. Some only use them for special events or occasions when a being bathroom free for a long period of time is necessary.
