oncolytic virus trials

Postby Tim UK » Mon Apr 01, 2019 3:31 pm

Hello all

It's been a while since I posted. Sorry. Been ducking and diving with a few trials (anti-GITR then ERK inhibitor). Most enduring was the Roche CEA/TCB phase 1 trial in Barcelona that kept me going for about 18 months. Eventually all these ran out of efficacy so I'm back on the folfoxiri + avastin regime, done 9 out of 12 rounds. Yuk. Weight dropped from 75 to 55 kgs, so I'm trying to reverse that too. My CEA hit 450 and CA19-9 hit 60,000 (!). Down to 100 and 5,000 respectively now.

My question: has anyone come across effective oncolytic virus treatments in the US or Europe? I'd be really grateful for any leads.

Best wishes
Tim

Tim:
Are you MSI or MSS? Do you know your mutation burden? Keytruda has been working for me after 7 years of fighting my cancer back. I am MSS but have a moderate mutation burden so it is working for me. It may be an option for you.
