Has anyone had pain from lung mets?

Hello, I have rectal cancer with mets throughout my lungs. I get twinges of pain in my lower lungs. Suddenly got worse a few days after chemo. Most people don't seem to feel lung pain, so what is it? Could it be inflammation from the chemo, or is it just growing fast and causing pressure? It's really scaring me, just not knowing why. When I take deep breaths my right lung squeezes at the bottom. Has anyone experienced this?

Sorry I don't have experience with your situation, but I remember during chemo I would have random pain, the worse was a super sharp pain in my side that would go away almost as fast as it came. But that only happened a few times. Be sure to report this right away, there's a chance its a blood clot.

As martd said, report it to your oncologist right away. Could be nothing but it could be something. I vaguely remember something - maybe just a twinge, maybe tightness, maybe pain - at one point when I was on chemo and my oncologist order a CT scan STAT. Turned out it was nothing but there was a risk of something serious.
