My husband had 50+rounds of either folfox/folfiri/plain 5fu/lecuovorin (pretty sure I spelled that wrong). He only switched to Xeloda because hes dealing with a lung met and they respond better to that I guess. All the changes in the above were not because he didn't respond or the cancer got smarter, but rather because of surgeries and treatments and the doctors preferred followup chemos. He did have to stop after 11 oxaliplatin doses. That was due to neuropathy.
looks like your tumors have had a good response to the Folfiri. That is great!
