Hello Maggie ,

I see your Scottish Roots are still close to the surface in this thread . Ha .
Enjoyed it but not brave enough to retell it in theses parts .

73% of liver removed
enjoying life treatment free
2016 lung resection
Oct 2017 nice clear scan . Two lung nodules disappeared
Oct 2018. Another clear scan .

DX January 2019
Adenocarcinoma - Sigmoid colon
Met to right ovary or borderline cyst?
Obstruction during hospital stay, just after colonoscopy. Emergency surgery. Temporary colostomy. Primary tumour still there (French protocol...)
Folfirinox: 4 cycles
CT Scan/PET Scan: ok for surgery
Surgery (CRS + HIPEC) scheduled for 04/29: let's hope my surgeon doesn't find any nasty surprises when he opens me up...
Nasty surprises found: peri mets all over my colon, irresectable.
2nd ptotocol: IP chemo + IV chemo.

Can't find the Sunshine, Be the Sunshine

2010 = Age 37, Stage 3 Breast Cancer called (Her2+) L mastectomy with 18mths of IV chemo/Herceptin & 5years of meds.

FEB 2019 = colonoscopy Age 46[
* Distal Sigmoid 1 x Pedunculated Polyp (1p) 10mm (results are 15th march 2019 - benign)

* Feb 2019 Rectum 1 x Sessile (Flat) polyp (IIc) 12mm - Removed 15th Mar 2019 awaiting full results but do know this from biopsy - TVA with low grade dysplasia' and (Is, pit type IIIL )
