The whole thing gets pretty depressing at times...
GREAT NEWS - Am home with no sign of any cancer and off to a job interview tomorrow.
In August last year had an 'AP resection' and from there on it was hell.... (Sorry but it was.... still the drugs helped me hide away...)
That tube up my nose and down to my stomach (I had to have it placed three times) had me continually gagging and choking away. Man they can be terrifying!
MY PROBLEM- My bowel refused to work and the post op ileus (plus complications) had me in for 79 days. Man it all 'HURT LIKE ......"
A second operation was required to resolve/for, I quote "..laparotomy, adhesiolysis, small bowel resection and an appendicectomy."
Had two blood transfusions which intrigued me.
One of the worse outcomes was that the wound on my butt just refused to heal. Was in January 2019 they finally declared it resolved.
An awkward outcome of it all is some nerve damage ???? and I have a slightly numb right leg and cannot balance on the crazy spots like I used to.
Haha .... and for all you folk who have it, I now do these 'George Foreman - Walk it off exercises' , with my wife, which has helped heaps.

Things do get better after surgery and I personally can rejoice that there is no sign of any cancer.
I have the 3 monthly tests to check on things.
