Any comment on Hyperthermia treatment?

Postby esuperbaby » Mon Jan 14, 2019 2:17 pm

Dear all,

I was posted a post earlier and got lots of valuable feedback on taking Xelonda or not and I almost decided to go for that ..

Just few days back, I was advised by my European colleague about Hyperthermia treatment, may I ask if you all have comments on this treatment ?

http://www.hospitaldrherzog.de/

I have sent the pathology report for their comment and here’s their feedback .

I suggest to do an alternative approach focusing on stimulation of the immune system as general stabilization and detoxification.

Such a treatment would consist of several sessions of moderate whole-body hyperthermia (fever therapy) to stimulate the immune system, complementary treatments like infusions with high doses of antioxidants and vitamins, infusions with homeopathic medications for detoxification, immunomodulation with thymus peptides, magnetic field therapy, ozone therapy, oxygen therapy and physiotherapy.

Also local hyperthermia could be performed to the former tumor site.

It’s really a new idea to my mind and comments are welcomed !!

Thank you very much!

Sounds like they're experts at marketing (aka separating people from their money).

I thought it was hypothermia/cryotherapy that stimulates the immune system.

May I know if you go for Thermal Therapy after all the surgery and chemo or just after surgery ?

Would you share a bit more on your experience on this? Thanks alot!

You may want to do a search of "Herzog" on this forum. I think others have talked about this clinic or went there. I do not know what the outcomes were.

Hi. I read your post and I just thought I’d chime in. The bottomline is there is no real clinical evidence that hyperthermia works. I have explored that option as well as many other alternative treatments in the past and I can’t say they made any difference. I read your sig. You’re in a relatively early stage and have a very good chance of being cured for good. I urge you not to waste it on therapies that aren’t proven. See an oncologist if you haven’t and follow his advice. Just my 2 cents. Good luck.

Though induced hyperthermia has actually shown a number of positive results in many cases, you need to maintain certain precautions while undergoing the procedure. The process has to be highly controlled because the high temperature that can kill cancer cells can also at the same time harm normal healthy cells at the same time. So, the first thing would be to consult highly experienced and seasoned experts who can carry out thermal ablation safely with good results.

Secondly, if you are going for radiofrequency ablation, you need to aware of all the possible side-effects it can cause and be careful that there are no toxic drug interactions. Lastly, be prepared that whole body hyperthermia is going to lead to headaches, nausea, dizziness, vomiting etc because such high temperature is difficult for the body to get used to.

All the very best for the procedure and I pray that it works out in the best possible way for you! If you want to get an idea of what side-effects can happen in a hyperthermic state, you can refer to https://factdr.com/health-conditions/heat-exhaustion/.
