Dr. Kingham was my surgeon, but I've heard nothing but good things about Dr. D'Angelica. I don't know that I would choose a surgeon based on their geographical location, since you're really only going to see him a few times, and then for follow-up many months after surgery (unless there are complications or some other reason I don't know about that you would need to see him more often). Your husband is getting a liver resection and possible pump placement at the same time, right? One reason I liked Dr Kingham for that surgery is that he does it all laparoscopically. I am not sure if D'Angelica does too, but maybe someone else on here knows. Either way, you are going to be in excellent hands with either surgeon.

6/17: 28 days chemorad
9/17: LAR/loop ileostomy, CAPOX six rounds
3/18: reversal
9/18: liver met, resection/HAI pump, 11 rounds 5FU, 1 round FUDR
11/19 - local recurrence, brachytherapy, 3 weeks targeted radiation
12/21 - end colostomy
