I found out my yearly CT scans are normal which is wonderful! I think the episodes of horrible abdominal pain and rectal bleeding this year are due to ischemic colitis which I had at the end of 2015 because the symptoms are exactly the same. I've been taking 10mg of my main anti-spasmodic and am starting a daily low dose coated aspirin. The anti-spasmodic increase hasn't helped the pain I have daily due to cramping. My GI may do a colonoscopy in 2019.

Thank you Beckster and peanut!!! I really do hope my GI will do the colonoscopy because I want the episodes of horrible abdominal pain and rectal bleeding to stop! I had them in July, October and November.

A great way to close 2018/open 2019! Hoping 2019 also brings relief to the abdominal pain. It's very heartwarming to hear all these good news.
