Hi all!
Bear with me, this is my first post lol. I have a random question... so I had a robotic, laparoscopic sigmoidectomy on 11/26/18. I have recovered well! Spent only two nights in the hospital, very minimal pain, and felt back to normal about a week and a half after. I’m almost 3 weeks out and I’ve been having some intermittent pains in my right and left lower quadrants. It seems to be in my “ovarian” region. At first I thought I was ovulating, but it’s not even that time of my cycle. These pains feel sharp (but not excruciating) and feel deep. It’s almost like a pinch. Has anyone that has had a colectomy felt anything similar to this? Of course I assume the worst- adhesions, appendicitis, abscesses They’re literally right inside my anterior hip bones. I’m about to start chemo and have gone to see a fertility specialist and he did a transvaginal US to assess my ovaries and egg count and he never mentioned seeing anything abnormal with my ovaries. I appreciate any input!
Stay strong and God bless!
