Her GP will let her know as soon as he finds out which cuts it down a bit .
We are grateful it’s not at the start of her journey and we have developed some coping strategies.
Best foot forward as my mother likes to say :
Thanks for your kind wishes ,

I am still nervous for Pet Scan which will be done Friday, but I pray this is a good indicator. I am very happy with this news, but you know I can't just be perfectly happy because I know the liver is the next thing to look at and the PetScan is what does that. I Did the CEA today, results are usually in 2 days, so will know by Friday. If that starts going down then thats a very good sign.
Keep you guys posted and thanks for all the comments. Thanks NHMike, that makes me feel a whole lot better.
Rikimaroo wrote:Well Doctor called me last night around 8:30 PM....Not good news. Spot on Lung and in Pelvic region. I will get more information tomorrow and let you guys know. He will come up with a game plan, he did say this is still beatable. It's tough to digest this news as I was hoping to be done with it. Going through the motions, chemo (possibly) I dread and worry. CEA was also 22.

We even have a clinical trial in our city for Immuotherapy with MSS patients !!
My friend is having an amazing response with Keytruda for stage 4 lung cancer . Fifty percent reduction with just two cycles . Her fractured sternum has healed!! She has had it as first line treatment along with a chemotherapy agent .
Worth asking about.
Hold on tight for the best of solutions !!
