So DH just had new scans done ::drum roll::
-His spleen was measuring a little large doc said it's common for those on FolFox treatment. Nothing was said about the colon other than his CEA has dropped from above 10,000 at the beginning to 120 presently.
-He has some scarring on his liver due to the amount of shrinkage of the leisons there.
-The radiologist mentioned 3 nodes in his lungs not documented 3 months ago measuring less than .4mm, the oncologist couldn't figure out where/ what they were seeing. She says it's probably nothing it may be tissue sticking together also with the progress seen in the liver anything new spreading but if course keep an eye on it. This troubled DH and can't see anything past it.
DH and I had to Cleveland Clinic Monday to review with a surgeon to determine our next step. DH already gets a break from leucovoran and oxiplatin for 6 months (maybe more dependingfing on if his neuropathy subsides at all in his fingers and toes). The cancer center has put him on hook for everything pending what Cleveland says.
Any and all insight is so greatly appreciated. Even or 4 year old girl was telling daddy to be happy his boo boo was smaller. I can't fathom what he feels but I know he can't dwell on the negative.
