He finished his chemo on Monday November 26. He didn’t have any delays. Although his last chemo day his glucose was high. So we contacted his dr and they ran an A1C and his number was 9.2. So has to adjust his diet and exercise. They are hoping it only spiked because of the steroids. He will go in March for a CT scan, since he had emergency surgery, they wait. He does go December 17 for a colonoscopy. The surgeon wants one before his colostomy reversal, just to make sure he had gotten everything. We are a little nervous about that. First just to have it done and hope it’s all clear. Second because of his ostomy and then doing the colonoscopy through that. I guess the good part is he doesn’t have to worry about sitting on a toilet.
