Gi Appointment

Postby DarknessEmbraced » Wed Nov 21, 2018 4:43 pm

My appointment went better than I thought it would. He’s doubling my main anti-spasmodic pinaverium bromide from 50mg three times a day to 100mg 3 times a day. In a month I’m to start low dose enteric coated aspirin for ischemia. I’m to try that regiment to see if that helps. If it doesn’t then he will do a colonoscopy but he wants to try to avoid that. He said not to go to the ER unless there’s a lot of blood. I’m due for another colonoscopy next year anyway so he could do it later on. He listened to me and I felt like he’s taking me seriously.

Thank goodness you've struck someone who has empathy. Do hope that
this new regimen has you feeling tickety-boo in no time.

Somewhat comforting when you feel docs are actually listening/processing what you're saying.
I hope they can get to the bottom of this for you, DE. (pun intended :) ).
This has been going on way too long.
