I hear so much abpit MSK healing stage 4. Im in canada and all medical payments are covered here. Im in a top cancer center in canada with a head of staff oncologist. Ive just felt a bit down i guess as i cant get to MSK. Any hopeful stage for here not from MSK?

MSK is one of the hospitals that do HAI pump but I believe other hospitals offer the same thing. I'm a stage IV patient but have never used the HAI pump but I know there are other options for treating your liver. Definitely keep pushing for surgery. I have also seen patients here get liver mets treated one at a time to reach NED status. I hope other people who have done this can chime in.

I consulted with Dr Kemeny at MSK but ultimately did not choose HAI pump. Instead, I had surgery at another major cancer center in the US. I felt confident in the doctors I chose and have no regrets. NED since 2011.

If you are in Ontario wanting to be assessed for the HAI pump one of the hospitals in Toronto does them. Sunnybrook I think. I'm sure there must be others across Canada too.

As far as I know Sunnybrook is the only centre in Canada that offers HAI and you have to be a resident of Ontario to enter the trial.

I’m in a phase 3 trial at sunnybrook but it’s not an “immunotherapy” trial, its targeted at my mutation. But if you browse the immuno trials for CRC that are open at sunnybrook right now you could get the contact names of which doctors are leading those certain trials. Just a thought.
