KRAS G12V - anyone with good news?

We just got our genetic testing results and my mum is KRAS G12V mutant. I have been looking online and on this forum but have decided to stop for the sake of my mental health: I don't have a great grasp of scientific papers, and what I read is grim.

Anyone with a bit of good news or perspective on the subject want to chip in?

[EDIT] I should add that we're not US-based, we're in Europe (Italy). Might consider flying to the US for treatment but my mum is very weak at the moment so probably not ready to relocate relatively long-term

I am sorry to read what you are going through caring for your Mom.

There are many Stage IV survivors here posting every week.
My suggestion is to make sure she gets a second opinion on treatment from a major cancer center if possible. Treatment plans can still be implemented at the local facility as long s the overall plan gets the consent from a major cancer facility.
There is another thread ongoing covering a similar circumstance for KRAS mutant. You may get more reading those posts as well.

Best Wishes,
WS
