5 years from dx today

It was five years ago today when today seemed a lifetime away.
For those new to the journey, take a deep breath, listen to your doctors, ask questions and never hesitate to get a second opinion.
Butt!!
Most importantly stay away from Dr. Google, I had myself dead and buried at least five times.
Still great to wake up on this side of the grass !!!

Love to hear it! I’m in the sweet spot for recurrence and just starting to mosey up to looking at that five year goal. Looking forward to making the same post in 3.5 years (fingers crossed).

Congratulations Mike! That's great! Wishing you well always.
I am 9 and a half years since dx. I know what you mean about Dr Google...it only heightened my anxiety but early on it was hard to stay away from it. Was so glad to find this site, it helped me so much. I was paralysed with fear initially and for a long time, but it did gradually get better and it did stop consuming my every thought.
