2 full doses away from a break..

I just wanted to say how proud I am of my husband. Today his potassium was low so they added it to his chemo 3.5 is the low normal his was 3.2 so not terrible. His liver numbers are all back to normal only 1 was a few points high. His platelets were a little low and he told me today his body is tired of chemo.

I am proud of his kick ass attitude he's had all summer May 29th to present every 2 weeks for hours of sitting in a chair getting chemo. His second scan showed slight and mild progress but the surgeon in Cleveland said he was doing great and it was reassuring. I am proud because after today he's only got 2 more rounds of regular chemo and his body is just now saying "dude I'm tired of this crap".

We found this cancer by way of a routine biometric screening everything was out of whack. In January he was pushing 290 pounds and now he's leveled off at high 220 low 230s he just retook that screening and I anxiously await the results to compare them.

I am proud of my husband and not that you need a stranger to say so but I'm proud of you for enduring the storm.

That is such good news. Chemo is such a grind. I know it was so hard to go through the last rounds. Is he off the Vectibix? What is the plan after the break? Hopefully, things will have shrunk enough for surgery.

It is so wonderful how supportive you are. My wife was the same. I felt worse for her as she was forced to take on many jobs that should have been mine.

He is down 75% "power" on vectibix he still gets the rash but not as severe so he's had it 3x in a row now. He's got an MRI and CT scheduled the week after his last dose and we will head back to Cleveland to review and find out what's next from there. Over the last month the neuropathy in his hands had progressed and his feet about a week ago. But he's a trooper he'll bent on not leaving us anytime soon.

So last chemo day his potassium was a little low. And I got the results from his biometric screening and not as good as I was hoping. BP was about the same (yellow) all cholesterol levels were about the same (red) but his triglycerides were 847! His BMI was still red but his glucose, a1c, and waist circumference were all green. Help!
