Homeopathic ointment
Newton Laboratories Inc. Rhus Toxicodendron (poison ivy treatment)
Can likely be found at your local herb/natural health shop. Might likely be able to find online as well
It's very effective in letting me feel my feet , feel where they are (properception) , eases the stiffness. Also with my hands, I can feel my fingertips better, have better dexterity, and less stiffness there, too.
It seems so weird, but it really has been helpful!
My husband found a study working with a homeopathic poison oak remedy, and, since we had a poison ivy remedy already... what could it hurt to try? Well, I rubbed some into one foot and let it set a while (coz sometimes massage "wakes things up" for a few moments) and... WOW! I soon rubbed some into my other foot, into my fingertips... it was surprising!
I was on FOL/FOX for several months, now I'm doing 5FU Pump coz I was doing well, and the Oxaliplatin was giving me way too much of that neuropathy crap. Been on 5FU for... 4 or 5 months, now. Nerves are slow to heal, but the ointment really is helping with the process.
I wanted to share this in case it may help others with Neuropathy troubles.
If you're preparing food, wash hands well with warm soapy water, coz you don't wanna take it orally, it's a topical ointment. So keep that in mind. I usually put it on after dinner, a little before bed time. Slip on a pair of soft socks and get cozy for the night. The effects last much of the next day.
