Colonoscopy tomorrow

Postby glenncal » Tue Oct 09, 2018 2:10 am

Hi Guys,

29 year old here.

I have a colonoscopy booked tomorrow following a set of symptoms which I was not willing to ignore and which have been going on for quite a while.

I won’t go into the symptoms here as I know only the colonoscopy can make the correct diagnosis.

I’m afraid as at times I’ve been 100% convinced that Colon cancer is the reason, but now that the truth is less than a day away I’m willing to wait.

I got a referall for a colonoscopy on 15th January 2019, but being that far away was making me feel worse.

So in the end I decided to book a private colonoscopy which will happen tomorrow.

All doctors I’ve been to including 2 Gastroenterologists have nearly dismissed my concerns (unfortunately, one of the reasons being that I’m too young).

Cautiously optimistic that all will be ok, while not excluding the worse scenarios.
