FOLFIRI side effects, horrible 4th tx

My husband completed his 4th FOLFIRI + Avastin this week. He tolerated the other 3 *ok* but is having an exceptionally hard time this time. His main complaint and my main question concern his intense rectal burning. He said his guts, genitals, and especially his anus feel like they are on fire. He writhes like he is having what I call *man contractions* despite reviving a double dose of atropine at the infusion center. His urine is dark brown/Orange and he said it *feels weird* leaving his urethra, and he had 1 *skin colored* bowel movement. His hands and feet itch, he's had a constant headache, and he is just...well, depleated. Any help or suggestions appreciated, and thank you in advance.

That could be a gall stone or something blocking a bile duct. I had a gallstone a couple years ago in between treatments and my urine was a dark orange color and my stool almost a gray color. Luckily it passed on its own in a couple days and things returned to normal. I did see my oncologist because of it and she said it was a serious issue and needs to be checked as it can cause serious infection.

This may not be what he has but some of the symptoms sound the same. I also had back pain.

I don't have any experience with folfri I was on folfox with avastin with no major side effects. What you described could be serious. How is he doing now, better hopefully. Have you contacted your oncologist? I would definitely report that side effect . Are they doing blood work at his infusion? His liver numbers could be down.
