Feeling better finally after liver resection

Postby RulaLenska » Wed Aug 22, 2018 10:47 am

I’m feeling better now, like I’ve turned the corner. I had a really good check up with my surgeon this week. CT shows almost complete regeneration, blood work looks great and my CEA is 4.3 which is the lowest it’s been since diagnosis when it was 400. I’ll see my Onc in a month with a repeat of labs. We’ll discuss mop up chemo.
Just 2 years ago I had massive liver tumors, lung and adrenal tumors and a sigmoid tumor that was partially obstructing at times. I was not a surgical candidate then. I NEVER expected to be where I am today. I come here often but I haven’t contributed much as yet. I am amazed at the level of care and real concern I find here. The information is so helpful and comforting, it makes even bad news palatable. Thank you all for being here though I wish we didn’t need to be.
Health and healing to all,
Cyn
