Hey,
Just saw this. As many of you know, I was in Philly watching my son get married. Still, this forum is truly never far from my heart.
CRguy....wonderful sentiments.
This forum changes, evolves and new people come and go.
There are new personalities, new problems etc but it basically it is all the same.
It's a group of people coming together....all of us who have had or known someone who has had colorectal cancer.
Sometimes it is hard not to see the same old 'faces'.....many have just moved on. Moved on to live their own 'new' lives...
they don't want to dwell any longer on the cancer journey and who can blame them?
Then, though, there are those who have passed.....and those hurt. Who would have ever thought that
one could really become 'friends' with another person you have never met?
It dawned on me the other day that one of our old mods, Eric (brownbagger) passed away a year ago. Has it really been that long?
For those of us who have been around this board for some time, we can tell you stories about so many people and how they have
touched our lives.
For those of you relatively new to this board.....reach out to someone else.....get to know them....on and off the board. You will be
surprised at who is out there....just waiting to connect with you.
I will forever consider Terry, PamSue, Belle and Ashlee (among others) to be extremely special people who I am honored to have had the privilege
to know......and to spend time with. Where else can you just meet someone that special????
Reach out.....share your story.....we're here for you.
