Diagnosed with multiple bone mets

Postby teri3 » Tue Jul 24, 2018 7:31 pm

I seen my oncologist today and was diagnosed with multiple bones mets, the areas are very small at this point and not giving me any trouble. Internet search doesn't give a very promising prognosis. But we all know what internet searches give us lol. Anyone else dealing with this?
My health right now is really good other lung thingies and now bone thingies. You would never guess I was dealing with stage IV cancer. Just trying to see what I'm going to have to deal with. My oncologist says a lot of people deal with it for years.
Thanks

I am sorry to read your post, but I was happy to see your positive attitude and approach to your new normal. Every day may be a challenge, but you are well schooled in challenges since diagnosis. Keep moving forward and live a purposeful life with those you love. My thoughts are with you as you battle this new issue.

Thanks CLD. When does your DH get his bone biopsy? They aren't schedule one for me the bone scan was pretty conclusive. Please let me know how things go.

Hi Teri, Bone biopsy will be done pending his scheduled MRIs the first week of August. The Interventional Radiologist said he didn't think they were cancer, so that's the hope we are clinging onto right now. I just posted todays events in a new post. Hope you are doing well.
