My Dr said that it takes 10 to 12 yrs for a polyp to become cancerous. That my polyp took that long to become cancerous. Mine was at the location cut, of a prior surgery that removed my appendix. That it could of been left behind from that surgery.
Have they said you could be a Polyp Farmer?
Some people at certain have turned into polyp farmers and require more frequent colonoscopies. I also had a Dr tell me that too after my cancer colon surgery.
It is always best to get 3 medical opinions. Even if you like the Dr and think they are the best.

8/16/16 NED for Colon/Lymphoma nodes have shrunk on their own.
