Naturopath now or no

Hi CR guy,

My cancer is pretty advanced, many mets to liver and lungs. Beyond diet, is there a reason for me to sign on with a naturopath? I'm conflicted. I can see doing so, if by grace I'm healed, otherwise ... well I know it won't heal me.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Hoping others will also weigh in here.

JMO I would want an integrative medical professional working as part of a team
i.e. not either / or
these can be hard to find but as long as your team can work together
in YOUR best interest, I would say consider it.

BTW I moved your post here to give you your own current topic. The topic you found and posted into was quite old,
out of date and shall I say ....."feisty"

You will get a better discussion here, than there.

Best wishes on the Journey
CRguy

I work with an integrative oncologist and have found her to be an incredible resource and member of my medical team. She worked hard to mitigate side effects and help efficacy while I was on chemo. My doctors were all floored with how well I responded to and endured chemo.

I did have a recurrence (or rather a lung nodule that hadn’t grown for 2 years began to grow) while taking a “supplement vacation”. This could have been a coincidence, but I have a feeling the cocktail she has me on helped prevent the cancer from progressing (I was completely off chemo for 1.5 years at the time the nodule began to grow).

Currently, we are working on keeping cancer away with research based diet, supplement, and lifestyle. All of these things are catered to me personally based on comprehensive blood tests.

My naturopathic/integrative oncologist has never promised to cure me (she hasn’t said it’s impossible either), she does however have an excellent record with extending lives by years, and adding to the quality of life during treatment.

While investing in her expertise is expensive, and following the protocols grueling at times, I couldn’t imagine my fight without her guidance. Money and time well spent from my perspective.
