I had my first colonoscopy a few days ago. I had 1 polyp removed. The path report said hyperplastic polyp but went on to say, "sections of the "sigmoid" identify serrated colonic glands surfaced by cells with abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm and intracytoplasmic mucin"
I tried to reach my doctor for an explanation but I was unable to and now it is the weekend.
Can anyone tell me what all this means?
Thank you
