Anyone have an Endoscopic ultrasound (ultrasound probe attached to colonoscopy) with Fine needle biopsy? My cecal mass is submucosal and “probably” benign. Hoping this ultrasound might help me avoid a right hemicolectomy.

Yes I had several. They can learn a lot about a lesion this way

Yes I had an endoscopic ultrasound for staging when I was originally diagnosed. The doctor can see how deep the tumor is as well as any lymph nodes that may be affected.
