I have been approved for SSD but does that mean I also get health insurance?

I spent about ten minutes on this and couldn't find anything definitive outside of that you may be eligible for Medicare or Medicaid depending on your age and the state that you live in. A co-worker went on Short-Term Disability which morphed into Long-Term Disability and found that he had to pay for his own health insurance (which is about $22,000/year). But he was receiving LTD benefits which should have covered his health insurance costs. This guy has the assets to retire right now and pay for his own health insurance but he did return to work and is working full time now so his benefits are back to normal.

I filled out the SSDI questionnaire out of curiosity and it only told me that I was eligible for SSDI; it didn't say anything about medical coverage.
