Re: Reversal

Postby Atoq » Tue Jul 03, 2018 1:24 am

Another week has passed and now I am 4 weeks after reversal, I have started eating fruit without peeling it, peaches and apricots, blueberries. They made me a bit bloated but the GI tract is functioning even better. I have to start with probiotcs again because during VATS last week I got more IV antibiotics.

Sounds like you're doing quite well, especially after your recent surgery. I'm going to have to save a bunch of these pages on my homepage. I keep accumulating too many bookmarks.

This Sunday we are leaving with dogs, cat and kids, driving to Italy. First stop in the Alps, then Venezia, Toscana and Alps again. Last stop to Legoland in Denmark.

5 weeks of vacation to relax and gather energy before work and school in August.

It will be a bit more expensive than usual, because we could not book in advance with the big question mark of life after reversal. And we added Venezia and Legoland to the usual vacation, which both are very expensive, but what can I say...now I am NED, until next scan...carpe diem!

Enjoy your travels, Legoland is so cool and being home in Italy.
I can't wait for a long trip.
