Ugh, so sorry you are not only dealing with the shock of learning he has cancer, but also his wanting to just not deal with it. Obviously we can’t know him the way you do, but perhaps it is just a short-term coping mechanism and he will indeed go for the colonoscopy after he has a few days to take it all in. As for going to the ER, I am guessing if he feels crappy enough he will go, but until then, nothing you can do. Sending you hugs and moral support across the internet. Escape to a good book or movie for a few hours when you can, this is that time frame when it is absolutely the most overwhelming mentally and any chance you can shake it, go for it. Keep us posted on what your husband ends up deciding.

Pathology report stages me as IIIA (T2N1M0)--1/15 LN detects cancer
2/3/16 chemo port inserted
2/8-6/2/16 8 rounds of Folfox
