Never be scared of a better look of what needs to be addressed by your treatment plan. All information for your doctor is good information to make your plan of treatment.
The scan is done to mark where your cancer is currently identified. The good news, after treatment, you can hope to see the scan results getting better with things shrinking and disappearing. Marking where the disease is currently at, allows you to measure the success of your treatment plan.
Good luck moving forward.
