Lung mets question

I am NED after two years plus, but have not had a chest CT scan since before my chemo started. I have had two pelvic and abdomen CT scans. I mentioned it at my visit last month and my doctor didn't seem concerned but will add a chest scan to this year's scan..probably September/October.
Are there any symptons of lung mets? I feel great except for lingering neuropathy from Oxaliplatin. Thanks for your help.

Margie:
I have never had (nor have I seen others have) symptoms with lung mets even though I have had multiple. However, I think with your CEA where it is (and it looks like it may be a good indicator for you based on y our history) that you probably do not need to worry about lung mets....though I don't think it is a bad idea to be scanned so you have peace of mind. Here's wishing you NED forever!

Thank you for your input, Cynthia! That helps! I will get the scan in a few months for peace of mind. Maybe bump it up a month or two!

Margie,
I have had several lung mets and never once did they produce symptoms that I noticed. As long as you are scheduled for a scan early Fall, there is no sense worrying about things that are out of your control (easier said than done....I know 8) ).

Best to you

Rob
