Please need prayers

I’m so nervous about my cat scan tomorrow. Been giving me so much anxiety . Is cat scan accurate ? Which one shows more accurate cat scan or pet scan ? Please pray for me . Thank you very much
Diagnosed 10/11/17 at 46 years old . Now 50,4 kids 29, 25, 15, 13
Colon cancer Stage 3b 5/26 lymph nodes positive
Surgery 10/19/17
Cea 0.6 11/15/17
Finished last Xeloda pills 6 cycles 4-10-2018
Did only 3 infusions of oxilaplatin due to bad neuropathy
5-8-2018 Cat Scan clear
5-8-18 Cea 0.6
5-10-18 Port removed
8-7-2018 Cea 0.7
11-13-2018 Clear Scan
11-13-2018 Cea 1.4
12-11-2018 Clean colonoscopy
3-13-2019 Cea 0.8
7-19-2019 Clean scan
7-19-2019 Cea 0.7
1-14-2020 Cea 0.5 :D

April-May 2018 Radiation+Chemo then a TIA (Minor Stroke). - Stopped Chemo.
August 27th-November 2018 - Surgery and long, long recovery
*Decided to live to 100 as I will get a telegram from Her Majesty the Queen when 100yrs old. I so, so want one.
Am a Salvation Army chap so I complete 'knee drill' (prayer) to the Commander in Chief often. For myself personally this helps me through.

I'm not sure which is 'better'. CT or PET. They each do their own thing.
At 54 2014 1st colonoscopy colon cancer detect
Colon resect margins clear. No chemo Stage II

Distend abd, pain in intestines.
CT scan seeding & Ascites
Lap diag - cancer on the omentum
CEA 217; 219
FOLFOX started 6/17
CEA 202
8/29/17 CT melting of tumor.
Latest CT scan shows 2 new tumors and return of ascites.

praying for peace of mind and a good outcome. Each scan has s specific strength ... CT scan is the standard modality for surveillance and follow up monitoring with great accuracy.

MSS - KRAS wild
Well-differentiated adenocarcinoma at splenic flexure
Stage IV CC with liver mets
5FU - Failed twice - 1/17 and 3/17
Irinotecan + Cetuximab: 8/17
Irinotecan and Erbitux ran it's course. CEA rising
Primary tumor invaded tail of pancreas and spleen. Liver mets major concern
Y-90 radioembolization on 9/17/18, liver enzyymes have dropped. 10 Radiation treatments to primary tumor completed too. CT scan Nov to assess overall situation...

Thank you sooooo much everyone for your prayers. I will keep you posted . I wont know til next week . I see my uncologist on Tuesday . The waiting game is so hard not to think about it and its gonna hard over the weekend . Sigh ! The stress :(

Is there any particular reason why so long? Cleveland Clinic turnaround if you do in the morning, could be later that day, but mostly 24 hours.

I bet the waiting game is nerve racking. You will have good news!!

Maybe a pathologist has to read it. This is one area that's labor intensive and there are often not enough of them.

Ugh this sucks Can’t sleep. What if they already have the results already and its bad and their just waiting to tell me on Tuesday . They said it takes 3 to 4 days . Is that true , can it really take that long. I know they said everything was taken out during surgery on October 19th but what if it came back while on chemo . Sigh this weekend is gonna go by so slow . Sorry just needed to vent out . Hate feeling stress
