Four years clean

Postby ANDRETEXAS » Fri Apr 13, 2018 2:45 pm

Just completed my four-year post surgery CT scan and colonoscopy. All clear. I know I am not out of the woods, but getting past each milestone has been an accomplishment. I want to thank BrownBagger, cw2sage, tdsamal, tammylayne, Vox66, justin case and pmterra who welcomed me on Valentine's Day 2/14/14. Some are still here and some are not, but each of them and many more gave me hope that I could reach my goal. To them and others, I wanted to post a thank you for their support and prayers. I hope I can continue to give newly diagnosed members the determination others gave me.

Thank you everyone. I tell friends the words "normal" and "stable" are great words to me. I have a few friends with cancer still trying to get to that point. Another thing I've learned - Don't sweat the small stuff. The many problems we face before diagnosis become inconsequential afterwards.
