Hi,
I have a metastasis in one lung, it was already there at diagnosis in October and had a diameter of 0.8 cm. One month ago, after removal of the main tumor, they took a core needle biopsy and determined that it is a metastasis from CRC and decided to wait three months before taking a new CAT scan and, if it is still solitary, remove it. What they told me is that these metastases grow quite slowly and do not produce new metastases, so it was better to wait before doing a VATS wedge surgery, so that we give some time to other metastases that might be present, to show up on the CAT scan.
All the best
