Lynch syndrome plus recent colonoscopy

Postby Hulaw2007 » Sat Apr 07, 2018 9:41 pm

I have verified Lynch syndrome which I got from my mother. I have two siblings who also were diagnosed with it. My sister and I had prophylactic hysterectomies. We all get colonoscpies once a year. I have had common polyps every time. But this time when I woke up the doctor said he did not see any polyps. However when we got the pathology report back the pathologist found tubular adenoma material that was dysplastic to some degree. Has anyone heard of this happening? My doctor now says I have to have another colonoscopy so he can take a bunch more biopsies in that area and check this over again. What do you asl think?

With Lynch syndrome, I feel it is better to err on cautious side.
Do things which you feel can reduce chances of getting the disease such as taking aspirin, going on vegan diet as much as you can, regular exercise etc.
