Scans tomorrow

So tomorrow (I guess today) is my 6 month surveillance scans. I’m usually fine until after. Playing the waiting game is where my scanxiety starts. Last scan I had to wait 4 days for my results. It was awful. I think going through surgery and chemo should give you a pass on the wait time. Praying for another good report. I hope everyone is doing ok. I pray for you all.

I hope you do not have to wait long for your results! Call on Thursday and pester them and hopefully they will get back to you on Friday.
Diag Feb 5, 2016 Age 45
3 cm tumor 5 cm from verge
Radiation + Xeloda pills - 3000mg 5x week
3/14 - 4/16 - 25 sessions
Shrank just over 50% L nodes 0/13
Remove rectum with temp Ileo 6/17
Reversal 7/20 due to infection
Acute hepatitis August. Chemo cancelled
June to September 2016 - 58 days in hospital

2017
6/16, MRI shadow in lung
Pet - 6.6mm Met in Upper R lobe
7/30 VAT surgery Mass General/Boston
8/24 port
8/30 - 4/28 Folfox. 12 rounds
2018
June CT shows new lung Mets.
July/Oct PETs...CLEAR!

Stage III cc surgery 1/7/09. 12 tx FOLFOX
Stage IV PET = 1.5cm liver met. HR 4/11/12

14 years since dx and 11 years post liver resection.

Waiting it out is always so tough. Hope your scan is clean as a whistle!

7/17-12/17 Folfox(no Oxi round 9-12)
12/17 liver/lung mets-Stage 4 MSS KRAS G13D
2/18 liver doubled to 8.5cm+new met, lung mets to 1.4cm, multi peri/omen
2/18-7/18 Folfiri+Avastin(no 5FU after C2)
4/18 mets shrinking
7/18 liver/lung mets growing, Folfiri stopped
10/18 In Clinical Trial

So I called my oncologist’s office today after not hearing anything about my CT scan on Monday. The nurse advised radiology had not look at it yet. So now I have to wait until Monday, at least. I’ve never had to wait this long before for my results. Beyond frustrated right now.....

So a couple minutes after I updated, my oncologist texted me with my results. The scan was all clear. God is good!
