Thanks soccermom for the feedback, Susie and Mike too. I do go barefoot in the house, in the grass when I take my dog out to play on the soccer fields and at the beach. The scrunched up sock things is a great description. I also find it is worse in late afternoon evening. I am experimenting with keeping my feet up a little while every hour to see if that might help, like maybe a little edema, not enough to see but enough to cause the tingles.
It isn't so bad that when I am engaged in something like bocce ball game tonight it bothered me enough to stop but it was an issue when my husband and I were dancing at a B-day party.

I am a little more than six weeks out from last Oxil, infusion round. I have a CT scan coming up on Tuesday. Picked up the lovely barium smoothy which I drink Monday night and an our before scan. They are doing chest, abdomen and pelvis. Trying not to get anxious. It's going to be a long wait until I see the oncologist the following week. I wonder if the results will be posted up my portal, the MRI was, before I see doctor? Will I wait to read it or jump into it solo.

My CT results were posted the same day (early morning CT). It was basically a very long pathology report on the portal which I read from start to finish as you'd expect. It may be that the pathology department wasn't very busy that day.

I don't understand what you are saying at all. A CT report is ordinarily only done by a radiologist and is based on an assessment of a CT scan image, but a pathology report is ordinarily done only by a pathologist and is based on the examination of a biopsy or biological specimen. What are you referring to here when you are talking about "My CT results" ? It's not clear to me at all. How can a Radiation Technologist issue a "very long pathology report"?

Just home from the oncologist. He walks in and tells I am no longer anemic. My answer, "well what about the cancer, what did the scan find?" He just looks at me an says "nothing." " So the cancer is gone?" Yes, he says and lets keep it that way. Just read his dication, according to the radiologist "there is no evidence of neoplasm" That's NED!!!!

I think I have read the oncologist note a half a dozen times, radiology report is best read in a year. My mom and sister are so relieved,
we lost my dad and brother to cancer. S0 glad I had enough fight and certainly better care than my brother who died of colon cancer at 30.

I have seen two surgeons locally to see what's going on with my skin in prep for reversal. Apparently I have a rectal prolapse so back to Stanford to see my surgeon and get his opinion. Just the barium enema and using the toilet for that made my skin sore, bled so I can't imagination what normal bms would do.
I am scheduled for a PET scan on Friday, probably not necessary but I will feel better with another clean pictures. This is such a shock, insult it is really hard to believe when they say you are cancer free, I want more proof.
Also working with original GI folks on my first colonoscopy. There isn't any prep as I don't have anything down there to clean up with the ileo, one perk. Getting as much taken care of as I can this year, what a year. It was a year ago today I finished radiation.

Two clean scans and a surgery appointment. Got a plan for reversal in April. The surgeon wanted to do it sooner but I have work I want to get done and a conference to attend so I put it off. In the meantime Stanford has a Prehab study, diet and exercise to get in shape prior to surgery. It is a Mediterranean Diet with strength and endurance activities. I walk easily between 6 and 10000 steps a day so now I have to get to 10000 daily and add core stuff, pelvic tilts and planks. The diet is easy and I had a dietary consult who also helped me better understand post op diet. I had lost a bunch of diet on chemo but put on 10 pounds since July enjoying eating again. Good time to get back on track, husband needs it too.
Questions: When did folks have port removed? How much of a wound was there? What about the reversal wound? Did you continue to wear the ab support post op?
