O/T EKG SHOWS Bundle Branch Block

Postby Chickspeed » Fri Mar 23, 2018 5:30 am

I went to see a pre-op doctor yesterday. For loop Ileostomy reversal scheduled
for March 27.

He said my EKG shows and I have a bundle branch block
He asked me about some symptoms which I really don’t think I have.

I’m a little shocked because he didn’t really seem to be over concerned about

He said it’s not uncommon and if some day it caused
Me problems I may need a pacemaker.

He said his best advice for me now is to eat right exercise and don’t get overweight

My family doctor look at the ekg after I asked
Him about it he was not worried about it and
Noted their was no significant change since an ekg I had may 19 2017.

I typically walk 10-15 kms a week and work 40 hrs a week I was floored when I heard the results
I have zero indications of this.

They still say I am a prime candidate for surgery.

I am worried

I'd be upset too. But the doctors are telling you it's not a problem, so try not to worry.

I hope your surgery goes well and you have a fast recovery.

I also was found to have this. However they found this DURING a major survey I had. They checked my heart out like crazy while I was still in the hospital because of it. The cardiologist there did it was nothing to worry about so I am sure you'll be ok. Best of luck!
