Done with chemo
Just finished my 12th round of FOLFOX (9 with oxi). No doctors appointments for 3 months until my next ct scan. I don’t post much but wanted everyone on here to know that you are all my inspirations and your stories give me so much hope. Thanks for all the information you give.

3/29/17 diagnosed CRC - 44 y/o Male
4/17/17 ULAR - Straight anastomosis - no ostomy.
Path: low grade T3n1m0 - moderate diff.
KRAS - NO, MLH1/PMS2/MSH6/MSH2 - Normal.
5/3 med port install
5/22 folfox - first treatment.
3rd treat, delayed - low ANC - reduced to 90% OXI
zarxio all treats
Treat 7 - 75% OXI
Treats 8-12 - NO OXI, Luke & 5FU
10/20/17 CT- NED
3/18 Scope - Clean
11/8 PORT OUT!
7/22 CT - NED (5 years!)

I'm just a dude who still can't believe he had a resection and went through chemo (currently 13 years NED). Is this real life?

Congrats! Time to heal and recover. Maybe start planning some fun things and celebrate.

Congrats. I don't plan to do the full thing and am quite amazed when someone does the whole thing.

Congrats! I was due for #9 today, but now put off another week due to low platlets...and it has already been 3 weeks. My DR did say the very end might be harder and certainly my platlets are taking their sweet time regenerating. But only 3 more to go...so close, but also seems far away. And there you are...all done. That is something worth celebrating! Congratulations again!
