Question about polyps

Postby tif2112 » Tue Mar 06, 2018 5:18 pm

Hello,
As you can see per my signature I was diagnosed with rectal cancer in 2012. I had a clear colonoscopy in May 2013 and then in June of 2016 during the colonoscopy they found (& removed) 3 pieces of adenomatous colonic mucosa and 3 pieces of colonic mucosa with no significant histopathologic abnormality. Yesterday I had another colonoscopy where they found 1 polyp, I have not gotten the results of the biopsy yet. But my question is, is this normal or is there something I should be asking about or looking for? Thank you in advance.
