CLean scan- about 23 months remission

I want to start by saying my heart breaks for those lost. I don’t come here much - mainly to give hope to others. As the old timers know mom was diagnosed at stage 4 May 2011. After several remissions and reoccurrences she reached her longest current remission of 23 months. Her most recent scan was last week. She also continues to be in remission for stage 1 breast cancer diagnosed may 2012. She is happy and living life. I know I am so very lucky to have my mom. I never thought that we would be here almost 7 years later. We are thankful for each day we are given.

Always good to hear from you, Lisa! I'm so happy your mom continues to do well! Twenty-three months is a real milestone. As I'm sure you know, every week, every month, every year she stays in the clear means increased odds of her staying that way permanently. And that's what I want for her most of all! Go, Lisa's mom, go!!!
I keep hoping we'll meet at 53rd one day.

Yes Julie- I can't believe we haven't met! do you want to message me your number and i will text you next time we will be there. I am thinking sometime in May.
