I agree with Stewsbetty. You may want to change this to a full colonoscopy on March 8, if this is at all possible. If not, you could ask when, in the future , could you be scheduled for a full colonoscopy. It may turn out that they need to eventually do both if the sigmoidoscopy yields no results.
In my case, the initial scope found a tumor in the rectum, but the doctor didn't look beyond that to inspect the rest of the colon. It turned out that I also had another tumor farther up the line that was missed on the original scope. It would have heen much better if this other tumor had been found during the original procedure instead of later on.
