Mrs. Ziggy,

Your husband passing has hit me harder than any of the others for some reason. That was so fast! My heart hurts for you. I can't seem to stop crying.

May you be blessed with the knowledge that he deeply loves you.

Oh GOD I hate this disease.

All my love to you.

PS: my darling husband has passed along his condolences also. He is my rock just as you were Mr. Ziggy's rock.

I wasn’t shocked but sorrowful because I’ll miss the faces he used to make. He cracked me up! His last coherent words to me a couple of days before was “ I adore you”. He was a thoughtful man who always tried to help people. The kick in the ass is his wake is on my birthday. But he has started a new life in Heaven and I’ll see him again. It’s not goodbye, it’s I’ll see you later.

Fumaros I agree! But it was a fast moving cancer with some unusual characteristics to it. Hard to get on top of this thing. I definitely feel it’s tragic that so many people die of cancer in 2018. I wish there was a way to keep people from getting it in the first place. A vaccine or something would be nice. Maybe someday...
