I only had a few non specific symptoms:
Itchy skin, slight annoying pain under my right rib cage if I laid on my left side, and the skin on was chest was always red like a sunburn but didn't hurt. I had actually asked about the discoloration and my doc said it was probably sun damage.

Hi Lydia

I had no symptoms whatsoever, when a some blood drops in stool set of colonoscopy.
For the rest see my signature - it all landed well.

Why do you ask? Are you worried there's something in you liver?

My mother never had symptoms of the cancer in her liver until the very end when she had serious clotting issues. But even with most of her liver cancerous she didn't have pain or jaundice and most of her liver levels were in, or close to, normal range. Her doctors were shocked that she wasn't in pain but she said she never felt anything. Her Onco only moved up her scan because her CEA jumped and found a 9xmX9cm tumor in her right lobe of her liver.

Thank you all. Occasionally i worry that something is wrong, wherever i happen to feel something different. Maybe it's just stress. I have scan soon, we'll see what's up. Hopefully nothing.

DH had numerous liver mets at diagnosis. His initial symptoms were some right upper quadrant pain. They were thinking referred pain from appendicitis or pneumonia. Turns out it was neither. His symptoms showed up about 3 days before diagnosis. And obviously those mets were there for a while, not just 3 days.

HAI placed 12/15
Liver resect 5/19/2016 15-20 mets (surgeon lost count)

Welcome to the club!
It'll take quite a while, if ever, to regain the level of trust that you were used to. My advice: take any opportunity to celebrate successes and find a single expert that you trust and with whom you can discuss developments and worries.

Best wishes, L
