Just worried about the therapy effect!
I have found the exact
dosages may vary according to specific chemo protocol, patient's health status / comorbidities and different cancer centers' "preferences".
When I started FOLFOX ( June 2010 ) the standard oxaliplatin dosing I received was 85 mg/m² BSA for 9 cycles
and it was reduced to about 65 mg/m² BSA for the next 3 cycles due to significant neuropathy.... = the dirty dozen of FOLFOX for me [[ since chemo doses were based on BSA (Body Surface Area) ... it would all depend on your BF's BSA as to the exact doses received,
BUTT it appears to be about a 20% reduction which is in line with what I had. ]]
The therapy effect .... ??????
I am still here 8 years later, after finishing that chemo ... SO ......
so far ... so good
