STAGE IV KRAS G12V NON MSI-HIGH

Postby deebashari » Wed Feb 07, 2018 3:03 am

Hello, this is my first post. I hope Im making this sound more like a discussion than a letter. I am student and trying to find a clinical trial for my mother. She was first diagnosed in 2015 with Stage 3 and her disease had metastasized in October 2016. She had done many chemotherapy regimens, radiations, and is currently on her second maintenance therapy; Lonsurf. I constantly research and research to try to find the best solution for her disease. We have decided to consider finding a clinical trial as her CEA is increasing with Lonsurf. Its very hard to find a trial let alone information regarding her genetic mutation. I have read and found a a few immunotherapy trials. One trial included specifically targeting KRAS G12V and growing cells and returning them back to the patient. Does anyone here have KRAS G12V mutation with non MSI-High? If so, I'd love to here your experience with treatments and your prognosis. Again, it has been very hard to find information and I'd love to gain any knowledge. Here I have listed a timeline of her diagnosis and treatment. Any advice, recommendations for articles, anything would be helpful. I am eager to find a cure and have her cured entirely.

This is the TIL therapy at NCI. There is a thread on it here.

I have or had G12D which was in the earlier trial. The husband of one of the participants posts in the TIL thread from time to time.

Hi sharijohn - these 3 trials might be of interest for you:

NCT02079740 - To determine the response rate of the combination of trametinib and navitoclax in subjects with KRAS or NRAS mutation-positive advanced or metastatic solid tumors in disease-specific expansion cohorts. (Phase II) III. To confirm the safety and tolerability of trametinib and navitoclax in combination at the recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D) determined in the Phase 1b portion. (Phase II)

NCT03190941 (also known as NIH 17-C-0113) - NIH is currently recruiting for NCT03190941 (also known as NIH 17-C-0113) in which only patients who have KRAS G12V and HLA-A11*01 can qualify. This is an Engineered T-Cell Receptor, Adoptive Cell Therapy (Engineered TCR ACT) immunotherapy treatment.

NCT01174121 - The NCI Surgery Branch has developed an experimental therapy that involves taking white blood cells from patients' tumors, growing them in the laboratory in large numbers, and then giving the cells back to the patient. These cells are called Tumor Infiltrating Lymphocytes, or TIL and we have given this type of treatment to over 200 patients with melanoma. Researchers want to know if TIL shrink s tumors in people with digestive tract, urothelial, breast, or ovarian/endometrial cancers. In this study, we are selecting a specific subset of white blood cells from the tumor that we think are the most effective in fighting tumors and will use only these cells in making the tumor fighting cells.
