Occurence of CRC after negative colonoscopy

Is it possible for a 23 year old with no family history of cancer who had a colonoscopy 6 months back(no polyps etc) can develop Colon cancer in the mean time???he farts a lot during night

Why would you think he has colon cancer? He has a recent negative colonoscopy. He farts a lot at night? I think you may be barking up the wrong tree. Good luck.

Presumably, if he farts THAT much, he’s likely to blow any polyps that weren’t there 6mths ago, away anyway.

The above is in jest obviously. Unless the specialist performed his colonoscopy with his eyes closed, I think he’s safe. Maybe tell him to lay off the beans/fiber/fizzy drinks.
